This is the next step for students who have outgrown block coding and are ready for the real thing. Learners write genuine Python and Java, the same languages professional developers use every day, and build their own playable games with the Microstudio game engine. Because every lesson is project-based, your child sees their code turn into something they can play, share, and be proud of.
From there, students step into artificial intelligence with hands-on tools. Using Google Teachable Machine, they train AI to recognize images, sounds, and gestures, then build their own AI-powered games around it. An introduction to 3D printing lets them carry a design from the screen into the real world. Every class is matched to each learner's age and skill, so motivated students stay challenged while building real programming fundamentals.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need coding experience before this program?
Some coding basics are the best starting point, but all levels are welcome. This program is built for students who are ready to move from block-based coding into real text-based languages. If your child has tried Scratch, block coding, or our Minecraft program, they are ready. If they are brand new, we will assess their level during the free intro and make sure every lesson is matched to where they are.
What ages is this program for?
It is designed for slightly more advanced students, typically tweens and teens around ages 11 and up, who are ready for real programming. Because lessons are matched to each learner's age and skill, motivated younger students can join too. We tailor the pace so the work stays challenging without ever feeling overwhelming.
Which programming languages and tools will my child learn?
Students learn Python and Java, two of the most widely used real-world programming languages. They build games with the Microstudio game engine, train artificial intelligence using Google Teachable Machine, create their own AI-powered games, and get an introduction to 3D printing. Together these tools cover real programming fundamentals that carry into school and future careers.
What will my child actually build?
Students build real, playable games in Python and Java using the Microstudio engine, then create AI games that can recognize images, sounds, or gestures through Google Teachable Machine. Many projects connect to 3D printing, so a design on screen can become something they hold in their hands. Every class is hands-on and project-based, so your child finishes with creations they are proud to show off.
Are classes one-on-one or in a group?
Both options are available. Some students thrive with focused one-on-one instruction, while others love the energy of a small group. We offer flexible scheduling for private lessons, small group classes, and camps, so you can pick what fits your child and your calendar best.
